What we collect

• Anonymous session id (localStorage stub / future collector)
• Pages viewed (path), compatibility search events, impression events
• Outbound product-link clicks (manufacturer URLs; is_affiliate: false on this beta)
• Coarse returning-user flag (prior session in localStorage)
• When connected later: Google Search Console aggregate impressions/clicks; privacy-friendly or GA analytics if enabled

What we do not collect (this beta)

• No account signup required
• No sale of data to third parties
• No affiliate tracking pixels on this beta (monetization off)
• We do not intentionally collect precise geolocation or payment data

Why

To understand whether travelers find product × airline compatibility pages useful, improve data quality, and keep the product reliable.

Retention & storage

Preview builds store events in your browser localStorage and/or a future lightweight collector (e.g. Cloudflare Worker). Server-side ops events may land in a local SQLite MetricsEvent table used for owner metrics exports — not for advertising profiles.
